Fashion Photography in Lithuania – a Creative Investment
There’s something invigorating about stepping out of your usual environment. In early June, I packed my gear and flew to Vilnius, the atmospheric capital of Lithuania, to shoot fashion in two local studios: Lightspot Studio og Ninel Studio.
The goal? To expand my creative horizon, collaborate with international creatives, and strengthen my portfolio with new imagery that speaks to fashion brands and creative agencies looking for freelance photographers.
Lithuania revealed itself as an underrated destination for fashion production. The variety of studio spaces, the accessible pricing, and the local passion for aesthetics all added to the experience. I worked with talented stylists, models, and creatives who truly left their mark on the final results. Super inspiring and talented stylist Barbora Skaburske, and makeup artist, Agne, were among those who added a personal and professional edge to the shoot. From Baltic Model we booked two talented and pleasant to work with models, Simena and Ainé.
This wasn’t just a creative getaway—it was a strategic move. As a freelance fashion photographer, showing adaptability and an international mindset is key to attracting new assignments. Working with new people in a foreign setting pushes not just your technical skills but also your cultural awareness and visual storytelling instincts.
I returned home with an updated portfolio, new connections, and a clear sense that this is just the beginning. If you're a fashion brand, art director, or agency looking for a committed freelance photographer with international experience and an eye for detail, I'd love to hear from you.
