Five Unforgettable Days of Fashion, Friendship, and Photography in Tuscany
Hila Meir in the Tuscany hills.
In mid-June, I participated in the most exotic, rewarding, and professionally enriching photo retreat I’ve ever been part of.
In the heart of Tuscany, an international group of photographers gathered with one shared passion: fashion photography. Participants came from all over the world – as did the skilled facilitators who guided us through five intensive days of learning, feedback, and creative immersion.
We worked across three vastly different locations: a historic town rich with character and patina, a refined Tuscan villa bathed in golden afternoon light, and a countryside estate nestled among rolling hills. Each shoot had its own visual language and was, in its own unique way, a true highlight.
The retreat not only brought fresh inspiration and new energy to my portfolio – it also gave me new perspectives, friendships, and a sense of belonging to a creative community that extended far beyond the retreat itself.
In the upcoming blog posts, I’ll be sharing selected images, reflections, and impressions from each of the three shoots. I look forward to taking you along on the journey.
